Project Name: Airport Departure Lounge Upgrades
Project Location: Townsville Airport – Domestic Terminal
Date of Completion: Feb 2024
Project Duration: 10 Months
Project Scope: Design and construction of the new Vertical Transport (Escalators) and stairwell and upgrades to the existing Departure Lounge Area and Concourse Departure Gates

Project Challenges:

  • ­High level project staging and planning
  • ­Maintaining an operational environment for continued passenger movement ­through the terminal whilst coordinating construction elements in order to meet the client desired completion targets.
  • High level security  – Continued operation of the work site whilst adhering to all Airport security and safety procedures and protocols
